Give Visitors Reasons to Come

Tell visitors a bit more about your service/church and explain why they should join. Is this a once in a lifetime opportunity? A special event with influential speakers? Or maybe there is limited space, and you want visitors to know so they register now to secure their spot.

  • How long is the service?

Approximately an hour-and-a-half. The main service that starts at 11:30 am ends around 1:00 pm. The message from the pastor or guest speaker is usually about 35 minutes.

  • What if I arrive late?

It’s okay if you are late or if you have to leave early. There may or may not be a member of the welcome team there to greet you. If not, feel free to open the main sanctuary doors and an usher will find a seat for you.

  • Is the church wheelchair accessible?

Yes it is. You can find parking and a ramp at the front of the church.

  • Are people of other denominations, religions or atheists welcome?

Yes definitely. Learning about people of other beliefs and traditions can be enriching. You will not be pressured to believe what we believe or to come again if you don’t want to. We respect you and your beliefs and ask that you do the same for ours.

  • What if I have other questions?

Please feel free to send us an email or give us a call, we’d be happy to help find out more about our church. You can find our contact info on the Contact page.

  • What time does church start?

The main service starts at 11:30 am. Upon entering the building, a member of our welcome team will greet you and take you to the apporiate class. Before our main service, we also offer Bible study classes for adults, youth, and children, starting at 10:30 am.

  • What should I wear to church?

Come just as you are! You will find most people dressed in their “Sabbath best,” with suits and ties (formal), and others in jeans and tees (relaxed). We care about the heart, not what you wear!

  • Where should I sit?

Anywhere. While many people sit in the same place each week, guests are welcomed to sit anywhere they like. We’ll make room wherever you choose to sit.

  • Are there programs for children?

Yes. We love having children at our Shiloh. We have a robust childrens sabbath school. Children are also welcome to stay with their parents if they wish. The seats at the back are reserved for families with small children as its easier to exit the sanctuary for bathroom breaks etc. To find out more about activities for children, visit our Children’s Ministry page.
